A standard appointment is from 46-60 minutes which includes time for payment and re-booking.
Diana’s fees are below those currently recommended by the Australian Psychological Society (currently $246.00).
She does offer a concessional rate or bulk billing to a percentage of her practice; in general only to those who are health care card holders. Please discuss with Diana prior to attending if she has capacity to offer you one of these places.
Diana’s fees primarily include face-to-face time with clients and as appropriate consultation with other health professionals. Diana is aware however that at times clients will benefit from short coaching or supportive telephone consultations and calls up to 15 minutes will not incur a fee. Telephone calls longer than 15 minutes will be charged at a pro rata rate.
PLEASE NOTE: the focus of Diana’s practice is on the provision of psychological treatment. She does not undertake medico-legal assessments. Additionally she does not see people for the purpose of providing support letters for Centrelink, Courts and the like.
Payment is expected in full at the time of consultation. Payments can be made by cash, credit card (Mastercard, Visa) and EFTPOS. Credit cards will incur a 1% surcharge.
If clients are eligible for a Medicare rebate the relevant documentation must be brought to the first appointment. Diana is not responsible for the documentation of another health professional. If there is uncertainty about what documentation is required please contact Diana prior to attending.
Medicare rebates can be claimed directly following an appointment. Please ensure you bring your Medicare and debit cards if you wish to participate.
Your appointment time has been reserved just for you. Please notify Diana at least 24 hours in advance if you wish to cancel or change or appointment. It is generally not possible for Diana to fill your session time unless she has been given 24 hours or more notice. If you fail to provide 24 hours’ notice you will need to bear the full cost of the session. Please be aware that you cannot use Medicare, Employee Assistance Programs, Worksafe, TAC and Private Health Insurance for an appointment you have failed to cancel.
